The Association of International Schools in the South Pacific (AISSP) hosts professional learning conferences based on the collaborative insight from member schools’ strategic needs identified, as well as current global trends in best practices in education.

AISSP’s first professional development conference will be August 3rd-5th, 2023 with focus on the following areas…

1. International Mindedness
   Enhancing one’s goal setting and critical reflective practices within lessons, units, and assessments for culturally responsive teaching and learning that shifts paradigms and encourages different ways of thinking.

2. Technology Integration
   Taking technology skills acquired from virtual learning and better utilizing and implementing them back within our post-pandemic learning environments.

3. Child Protection in International Schools
   Implementing and acting upon a child protection framework based on internationally recognized criteria in the context of our diverse populations within international schools.

4. Inclusion for a Diverse Learning Environment
   Responding to the individual learning needs of all children within an international context to reflect, transform, and enrich the communities served.
